Side note: see how baggy the cute shirt is on my almost year old baby?  It's a size 6-9 months. . .she's a petite little thing.  I know her pediatrician is not going to be happy with her weight next week!  But I can't force feed her.  I nurse when she wants and offer lots of solids.  She's been refusing solids since last week.  With the exception of grapes, bananas, fruit by the foot, and gushers.  I know she'd be happy to have some yogurt. . .at least she'd be happy as she ate it, but after that, she'd be in pain both internally and externally.  We've tested it just to be sure, gave her a little sample cup of it at the grocery store.  She loved it.  The next day was SO cranky and had a horrible rash.

Shannon's random pictures request - Part 2

While at Cabela's yesterday, we learned a bit more of just how girly Maddie is.  An employee, an older gentleman, was talking to Maddie and asking her if she liked to shoot guns, and don't girls like to shoot guys. . .well, she kept giving responses in the negative and finally told him that girls do NOT shoot guns, boys do.  Despite that, he still gave us a bunch of tokens for the shooting gallery upstairs.  Maddie didn't use a single token, but mom and dad sure had fun!  Later Maddie and mommy were talking about something, and Maddie informed mommy that she does not like blue or green, they are boy colors.  She doesn't even want to color with those colors, because she is a girl.  She will only color with pink and purple.

Maddie recieved a camera as her Grandchild of the Month present from Namma and Boppa.   We are resurrecting The Mandorallyn Show as her place to post her pictures and as she learns to type and such, to share things.   Here are the best pictures she took today by herself.
